So, I’ve been a bit lazy with posting in the past week due to being a bit exhausted from sleep stuff in the past week, but I promise I have a full post coming soon! In the meantime, enjoy this picture of Rose reading a 40 year old copy of Where the Wild Things Are. No joke. The bookplate has her grandmother’s name, and below that, spring 1973. I love the idea of Rose having these old books with a sense of history to them, and not just brand new books. One of the reasons that I personally got into The Lord of the Rings had to do with the fact that I was reading my dad’s old paperback copies (which I still have). How about you? What old books do you have on your shelf with some history to them?
